Unreal.

My best friend continuously urged me to read this book and I kept putting it off. But once I stared, I could. not. put. it. down. I recommended it to the book club I host and everyone loved it. And everyone cried. Never have I ever cried so much for a story so beautifully written. I had tears streaming down my cheeks multiple times as the story opened up and we were exposed to the raw personalities of each character. Bright Side is beyond all words that are good, Bright Side is Epic. Kim Holden did Epic. Forever one of my favorite books. Find a copy, read it, and bring tissues.

Words aren't enough

What the EFFFF? I knew this would be emotional, I knew this would be heartbreaking, and I knew this would be somewhere around a 4 + read, based on my GRs friend's reviews. What I did not know, was that I'd be struggling to keep myself together, wishing I had a box of tissues, over characters that aren't real. Or maybe they are, and maybe they're Kim Holden's people. Either way, they feel real to me, and it feels like I just lost Kate. I also didn't know I'd read this, feeling half in love with Kate, and half wanting to be her, minus the obvious. I can only hope, should this situation happen, I could be as strong as she is/ was. I also can only hope those in my life, feel as strongly and love me as much. So, for the first 5 star rating I'm giving this year, I proudly give it to Kim Holden on this, because its epic. She did epic. Over, and out.
