A definite keeper...

Description from the back of book: Wild At Heart Casey Turner could rope and ride like any man, and she scandalized folks by wearing boys' clothes, but when she strode down the streets of Hard Luck, Texas, nobody took her for anything but a beautiful woman. Working alongside her pa to keep the bank from foreclosing on the Bar T, she had no time for the frivolous things of life, no time for romance. But all that was about to change... Michael Donovan had had a burr under his saddle about Casey for years. Ever since she caught him skinny-dipping in the river and stole his clothes, making him the laughingstock of the whole Circle D. The last thing he wanted was to be forced into marrying the little hoyden, but it looked like he had no choice if he wanted to safeguard the future of the Donovan ranch. Their families had been bitter enemies for years, but now his parents were urging Michael to court Casey, to treat her like a lady. He'd do his darndest, but he could never let on that underneath her pretty new dresses, Casey was as wild as ever, and in his arms, she was positively...BRAZEN * Wow! I absolutely loved this book. I'd have to say it's one of my top 5 favorites. I love it when a romance book gives you plenty of laughs along with some nice adventures. This book was very emotional & I found myself smiling & laughing throughout the entire book. Wonderfully written. Bring on more Bobbi Smith books! Loved it. Highly recommended.

MY first Bobbi Smith novel...

Such a wonderful Western romance between two childhood enemies who learn to love one another... One who spent his recent years back East and the other working like a ranch hand to help support her father's failing ranch. Both are amazed by the slow but definite changes in Casey Turner, the girl who works and dresses like a ranch hand, and it just makes you want to step right in to experience everything firsthand! I really loved this book, and I hope you will too. There's nothing like reading about a woman who can shoot a gun and the man she falls in love with.

Bobbi Smith aims at the West and hits home!

Ms. Smith is beyond great when it comes to writing about the West. I have been reading her for years, and this book is as good as the ones that came before--another winner. If you want a book that to keep you on the edge of your seat, you will love Brazen.

A fast-moving, emotional read--highly recommended!

Once again Bobbi Smith has delivered a fast-moving, emotional read. It's 1879 and Michael Donovan has come home to Texas to find his father, Frank, crippled after an ambush. At first Michael thinks the culprits are the Turners, a family the Donovans have been feuding with for years.Jack Turner, patriarch of the Turner clan, is dying. He is worried about the welfare of his daughter, Casey, once he's gone, for there are loans due on the ranch. Frank is also worried about the future of his ranch, and he and Jack come to a difficult agreement: Michael and Casey must be married to end the feuding and ensure the futures of the ranches. So Michael and Casey reluctantly wed, only to find themselves falling in love. Meanwhile, someone is working secretly to see to it that Jack and Frank's plan fails....I am a huge fan of Bobbi Smith's books, and BRAZEN is one of her best to date. The characters are beautifully drawn, and I found myself feeling Casey and Michael's love mixed with suspicion.I highly recommend this fast-moving, emotional read from one of the finest writers of historical romance!

Bold and Daring!

Times are tough for Casey Turner on her beloved Bar T ranch. Money is tight and she is working harder than ever to save the ranch from financial ruin. She has avoided marriage thus far, but when her father, Jack, becomes ill, he secretly hatches a plan to marry Casey to Michael Donovan, the son of his sworn enemy, a family they have feuded with for many years. Michael Donovan has been away at school for the last four years, and is ready to embark on his tour of Europe with his cousin, when he receives word his father, Frank, has been shot and paralyzed. Michael rushes home to Texas and to all the responsibilities of running his father's ranch, the Circle D. Michael and Casey are unhappy with the idea of marriage to each other. They both know however, in order to save their homes from the greed of others, they need the alliance between their families. As they begin to trust each other and heal old wounds, they start to realize the need, and the love, they have for each other. Bobbi Smith once again has engaged us emotionally with her characters, drawing us right into their world. Best of all, she keeps us entertained right to the very happy end. www.bobbismithbooks.com
