Not the book I ordered

This was not Volume 1 like advertised, the book itself had some small tears are scratches that are bad but nothing deal breaking. But it 100% not volume 1

So Dumb it's Funny

This is probably the dumbest manga I've ever read. I've watched the anime, and it's the dumbest thing I've ever seen. That's why I love it. This is about Bobobo-bo bo-bobo (shortened to Bobobo) and all of his sidekicks trying to defeat the evil emporer who is trying to make everyone bald. Something stupid and unpredictable happens just about every page, and those people who are used to manga that actually makes the least bit of sense may take a little while to get used to this. But, overall, this manga is the funniest thing I've ever read. People that are looking for a good plot line and good character development shouldn't even try Bobobo unless they've got a very good sense of humor.

Delivers What It Promises

This book is hillarious. I've watched the show in both Japanese and English, and this manga is as funny, and at some points more funny, than the show. I would strongly suggest getting this if you are familliar with the series, or are in the mood for an abundance of completely insane humor. If not, perhaps buy the DVD first, it is easier to appreciate.

Very funny!

Bo-bobo is one of the funniest manga charecters that I've ever seen! This whole story is absolutely off-the-wall, but still incredibly satisfying to read! The whole story is about Bo-bobo, a master of Fist of the Nose hair, (which is basically the art of using nose hair as a weapon) and his side-kick snacks trying to save the world from the bald empire, a ruthless band of tyrants trying rid the world of hair and shave everyone's heads! Bo-bobo, and his friends, Poppa Rocks, (a mean piece of candy with an electric attitude) Jelly Jiggler, (a large blue man made of gelatin) Dengaku Man, (a cute little guy who's made of tofu) And Softon, (a master fighter with a head made of chocolate ice cream) must fight to bring down the bald empire, and free the world from it's grasp! But will Bo-bobo's powers of confusion, nonsence, and nose hairs be enough to bring down his toughest opponents?! I highly recommend buying Bobobo-bo bo-bobo, it's incredibly funny and a joy to read! I've read it 3 times already and it never ceases to make me laugh out loud! If you need further convincing, watch an episode of the TV show on cartoon network, (on Saturday nights at 10:00) and if you like the show then I guarantee you'll like the manga.

Funniest manga that I've ever read!

This is quite honestly the funniest manga that I've ever read! The TV show on cartoon network appears to be the prequel to this manga so you might want to watch a few episodes to bring you up to speed. Although it's not entirely nessessary for you to watch the show first, (the whole story is crazy anyway.) Anyway, not everyone will love the nonsenceical comedy of Bo-bobo, but personally I love it! It parodies several other anime & manga stories/charecters! It's especially funny to watch Bo-bobo standing on the roof a train behind a cardboard cut out of the cast of Dragon ball z, or watching Yugi pop out of Bo-bobo's afro and summon slifer the sky dragon! But that's not all! It also parodies several different video games, the Power Rangers, and even Despret Housewives! It's all laugh out loud funny! This manga is also very thick, and provides hours of laughs! If you enjoy funny manga or just like to watch parodies of your favorite manga and anime, you'll love Bobobo-bo bo-bobo! I dont know when they plan on releasing the next volume, but I sure hope that it's soon! FYI: Regardless of what other people may say, I can assure you that Softon's head is not made of waste. That was only a joke that was printed in the manga because of the way his head is shaped. I'm surprised that so many of the other readers took the joke so seriously... Anyway, Softon's head is really made of ice cream. I also recommend: Sgt. Frog, book 1.

Utterly Bizzare

This manga surpasses FLCL for most bizzare manga I have ever read. Just about every page has some nonsensical completley random panel and that's what makes this so great. I'm ussualy not one for stupid random humor but this is a special case. First their is the premise of an evil empire intent on making the world bald, then there is bobobo himself whom words can't do justice. And the hilarious completley random parodies of manga conventions are what make this book a must. This is a difficult book to review considering it's the kind of thing you just have to see but I hope that the descriptions of the humor and style were enough. Warnings: If you like serious manga or don't appreciate bizzare humor stay away from this. Also this one volume series printed by viz starts and ends in the middle of the series for some reason.
