Highly Recommended

I try to make it a point to read all the books I can find about bipolar disorder. I was diagnosed 7 years ago as type 2. Its something you can never stop learning about. So when this book came out I checked it out at the library. I have since purchased it I like it so much. It offers everything anyone who was or knows someone who was recently diagnosed with bipolar disorder could ever hope to know as of now. It has all the basics and then goes into more specifics. It offers great resources to continue your education on the subject and help make a life of living with bipolar disorder so much easier.

excellent book for all types of Bipolar patients

This book is amazing and should be required reading for all person who suffer from all types of bipolar disorders. Not only is it written by someone with Bipolar I, but it is filled with excellent charts for the patient to fill out and discover his/her triggers. It is only filled with hope and compassion.

It contains excellent website resources, easy to understand references on medications, and charts (that you can personalize or design using a spreadsheet like Excel) that chart your moods by triggers, for example. On these points alone I would highly recommend this book.

great to carry in your purse

This is a small book, but it contains alot of very good info. I keep it in my purse to read when I'm waiting in the car, or doctors office etc.
