Fast delivery

Great service. I ordered my books after classes started, so I needed it right away. It was fast delivery. Would buy from seller again.

Great Textbook!

This is NOT an easy course, but the information in this book is fantastic. Its presented in such a way that makes it easy to absorb and really understand. I highly recommend all Biochemistry students required to have the book, should absolutely utilize it. Don't forget the solutions manual/study guide!

Essential Study Guide/Solutions Manual for the 4th Edition

This Student Study Guide/Solutions Manual (coauthors Patricia DePra, Trudy McKee, and James R. McKee) is an essential companion to McKee & McKee's 4th edition textbook. In addition to the solutions to 2/3 of the end-of-chapter problems, each chapter contains a 1-page, concise outline of major concepts, additional explanations and summaries, and hints/strategies for learning the material that would benefit any student taking biochemistry. If you're purchasing the 4th edition of McKee & McKee's biochemistry textbook, be sure to get the right study guide, as this review is also (incorrectly) listed with the 3rd edition text & study guide reviews. 4th edition textbook: ISBN 9780195305753 4th edition study guide/solutions manual: ISBN 9780195342925

Great Supplement

I found this study guide to be absolutely necessary and immeasurably useful. There were more thorough and concise explanations of concepts than in the text. In addition, it presented key ideas in a streamlined fashion that really made studying more effective for a class that can be very labor intensive. The study guide also had studying tips that made memorization less painful (as with the amino acids for example).

A very thorough intro to biochemistry for any grad student

From the point of view of biology and chemistry, this book outlines the fundamental points that are needed to understand the different processes of all cells, with a special emphasis on diseases. It has at the beginning of each chapter a short presentation of the problem to be discussed. It has an excellent set of questions at the end of each chapter. The index is very thorough and helpful and the references relate to CURRENT useful sources.
