An Absolute MUST for a Bible School.

Any student of the Bible comes across difficulties in establishing the chronology of events narrated there. Here is a contemporary help to date the events. Thomas Robinson's contribution to Bible study is thus praiseworthy. The book is printed as 16 panels, openable as one single banner onto the table for easy reference. In positing the difficult dates of events in the Bible, he relies on certain assumptions. There could be divergence of views. But widely accepted chronologies are consulted. No doubt, it is an excellent tool to work with and an asset for Bible schools and Christian libraries.

Life in Biblical times is now easily understood

Do you ever forget which happened when, and where? Was stone used extensively for building after God parts the Red Sea, or before? When did Antiochus IV ban obedience to Jewish law, and order the Torah to be burned? In 42 B.C., Cleopatra VII had a love affair with Mark Antony. How many years later did they commit suicide? In what season of the year 28 B.C. did Jesus risk criticism when he dined with Herod's tax collectors? Nero beheads Paul, but when, and why? These and a thousand or so other biblical questions will be answered with this fantastic and fun teaching/learning tool, not only for churches and sunday school rooms, but in YOUR home library, or as a wall-length banner in your child's (or any bible student's) room or office. This beautiful and easy-to-read full color timeline consists of 16 continuous (attached) panels covering the pre-biblical times, when the events were actually happening and being documented in letters and books we now know as the Bible; and Jesus' life, death, and resurrection, through to the completion of the last books of the bible, and the invention of paper in China. An absolute MUST for bible students of ALL ages! Geography lessons go along for the ride, as the reader witnesses borders develop and change. I have given this book to many youngsters as gifts, and this copy is so gently enjoyed, you could do the same with it. [inscription on inside back cover - no printing on this page]
