Captivating historical adventure

I had so much fun reading this book! It is one of the best romance books I've ever read. Debra Dier is a master at her craft, having created an intelligent historic romance rich with adventure, intrigue, mystery, and sensuality. This is an evocative original-a must read.

Best ever book I have read

What a wonderful story this is. When you think these two wonderfull people have no chance of happiness a miracle occurs.Gavin is a tortured soul looking for his one true love to perform a miracle, and give each other another chance to live and love again in another lifetime. The scene where Gavin's ghost comes for Julia to take her back to her time was one of the most poinient I have ever read. I was in tears while Julia was holding the body of her dead lover and talking to his ghost.Debra please write a sequel to this book. You have plenty of scope to do so. There's Patrick's and Brandon's stories you could write. I want to read about Gavin and Julia's lives for ever and ever. Thank you Debra for giving me the best ever book to read. This one I will treasure for the rest of my days.

If you like time travel novels, you have to have this one!

I loved this book! I agree with another reviewer in saying that Ms. Dier just goes right into the plot, with Julia meeting Gavin's ghost in the opening chapter. From there, the author takes you on an incredible ride. I couldn't put it down. From start to finish (and everything in between), the reader is captivated. I would recommend this to anyone!

Couldn't put it down!

This was a neat time travel book. I really liked the characters and I like that Ms. Dier gets them interacting right of the bat. I enjoyed Julia's struggle to get Gavin to believe she was from the future, I really felt her pain. She believed in his ghost so much more quickly! This was a powerful love story and I found myself reading into the wee hours 2 nights in a row to finish it. The resolution at the end was a surprise, but very satisfying. Thanks for a great read Ms. Dier. She will be a new favorite author for me.

It Was The Best!

"Beyond Forever" was the sweetest most romantic book I have ever read! When I put it down I had the biggest grin on my face. Debra Dier is one of the best authors I have ever been priviledged to read. It's about a ghost named Gavin who needs the help of the main character to prevent his son's and his own untimely death. The only problem is that he doesn't trust women because of his wife's deceit when he lived and she doesn't trust men because of the manipulations of her ex-fiancee. When she is forcibly removed from her own time and travels back about 200 years she has to find a way to save the highland lord and his son even though his suspicions are aroused at her sudden appearance in his life. The attraction between the two of them caused sparks when he was a ghost, imagine what happens when he is flesh and blood.
