Best Animal Ark Book Ever!!!!

Beagle in a Backpack is the best! This boo is the best because it made me so intense at the almost end. I just had to read it all too because it was so thrilling! And I thought I would never have a favorite Animal Ark book. Read on to hear more of why I loved this book! Okay other reasons why I really really loved this book is because Mandy and a friend were almost trapped in an underground tunnel. And they almost got killed to! And since a dog's life was in danger of course I am going to panic! I would panic because I really love animals! Read the next paragraph to hear what the book was about! Mandy Hope a girl who want's to be a vet hears about a girl and her puppy are missing! So Mandy and her friend James try to look for them. And when they find them the girl runs away and falls in this underground tunnel! And she can't get out because she hurt herself very bad! Now Mandy and James have to get her out before something bad happens!

Lovable Little Hound

As the owner of a beagle and someone who loves the breed, it was only natural that I would enjoy this book and the beautiful pictures of a beagle. Mandy Hope, 12 has quite an interesting curriculum vitae. The daughter of two veterinarians, she has had plenty of experience in tending to animals and understanding their needs. She is intelligent and extraordinarily responsible and resourceful. Her friend James helps out when he can. He, too shares Mandy's good qualities and is a strong positive character. The Hopes run the Animal Ark Veterinary Clinic and are fixtures in their community. Word on the street has it a girl has run away from home and naturally Mandy and James are on it. The girl has fled with a beagle puppy and Mandy vows she will track them down like a hound. ("You lack 'em, we track 'em" could be the Bloodhound Motto). The sleuths set out on the trail of the Missing Girl and the Barking Hound and let's just say....there's plenty of hound dog loving all around. A delightful book like all of the Animal Ark series books. ("Puppies in the Pantry" was not only delightful, it was FUNNY)! This one will certainly captivate readers and the beautiful beagle will find homes in the hearts of all who read this wonderful story. Hound at the Hospital (Animal Ark Series #33) is another excellent, albeit moving story about another beautiful, lovable beagle.

Fantastic Book for Kids!

Beagle in a Backpack, part of the Animal Ark series from Ben M. Baglio, focuses on a twelve-year old girl named Mandy Hope, whose parents run the Animal Ark veterinary clinic. While helping her parents out, Mandy hears about a girl close to her age who has run away, and taken a small beagle puppy with her. Mandy sets out to help find the missing duo. I think many young readers would be captivated by this book, and could learn from the compassion Mandy and her friends have for others, and for animals. Mandy is a strong role model for teaching responsibility, and also for recognizing when she's acted irresponsibly. I would definitely recommend this book for emerging readers and animal lovers!
