Thoughtful art activities for girls

I tried one of the art activities with my daughter's book group (3 10-year-olds) and it was a hit. The girls immediately responded to suggestions in the book on relating their art to their own lives and created beautiful art that was unique to them... not one of the three pieces was the same. This book combines some great information about the techniques and media of art with ideas to bring out self-examination and creativity. Highly recommended.
