Great addition to the DVD!

I purchased this after watching the 10 episdoes of the DVD and am really glad I did! This is more of a diary and there is much more explanation on location, terrain, situations the crew had to deal with, the human side of the filming & traveling, and more explanation about the treasures in many cases. I read part of the book, returned to the DVD to watch the episodes again then continued to read the book again. Very interesting and rounds out the episodes of the program. I loved it and have been to many of the places he chose. I believe he put in a lot of careful thought and planning in his choices for the 80 Treasures.

Very interesting book

Very interesting book and a good souvenir from the TV series. Congratulations to Mr. Dan Cruickshank and thanks for sharing his treasures. Easy to read during a trip. It is an invitation to travel in order to appreciate the culture, the history and more details of our world.
