Autism Support Specialist Disappointed with Damaged Educational Book Purchase

I work with autistic children, and many are drawn to books like "Animal ABCs Slide and Seek" by Alex Lluch. The copy at my workplace has become so popular that I decided to purchase another one. I opted for "Animal Numbers Slide and Seek" by the same author, which was described as being in "good condition." To my disappointment, when the book arrived and I opened it, I discovered that one of the slides on the last page was missing. This is essentially the same as having the page torn in half, as it also means that part of the illustration is missing. This is quite disheartening because many children on the autism spectrum I work with become frustrated with damaged books or those with missing pages. Unfortunately, given the condition of the book, I might not be able to use it at my job.
