Something in the Woods Mandy Hope and James Hunter found something in the woods. What could it be? In the book Badger in the Basement Mandy finds an old rusty car parked in front of Animal Ark. In the old rusty car sat an old man. In the back seat of the car laid a dog. The dog looked half starved to death. Mandy's parents, Dr. Adam and Emily, are trying to figure out what happened to the harmed animal. The old man didn't act like he had enough money to pay for the bill. Can they help the dog survive? Later in this book Mandy and James run into the woods when they hear about the badger digging in Pipers woods. In Pipers woods they find tire tracks. Mandy and James somehow find a way to make the tire tracks stay without letting the rain wash it away. Mandy Hope and James Hunter want to figure out whose tire tracks those are so they can stop the badger digging. Will they be able to figure out who was killing these badgers? By:Ali
