A friend recommended this book and we have thoroughly enjoyed it. Its wonderful to just sit down and read it, even for leisure.

A breath of fresh air in a revisionist world

When true and complete history is presented that shows how our Creator's providential hand was involved throughout history, (one of the most important reasons to study complete history) the revisionist secular humanists come out of the woodwork and try to destroy the truth of God's existence. In reading the negative reviews, that is what has happened here. Having studied our nation's Judeo-Christian foundations for over 15 years I find this book a breath of fresh air. This book contains the lessons of history that are absent from our centers of indoctrination posing as public schools. Understanding the truth presented in this book is critical to the preservation of our liberties and reestablishing the heritage that so many of those who have gone before us have fought and sacrificed for. This book goes a long way toward presenting what our children need to know in order to preserve their liberties and freedoms and to secure the blessings of our Creator God upon our nation.

Founding Fathers "Great Men" though not perfect

A great book to study and understand how Great Men came together with their differences and built a GREAT NATION. The United States of America.............a great REPUBLIC, like Ben Franklin said, IF WE CAN KEEP IT. THis book is a great read to understand where OUR FOUNDING FATHERS were coming from.......GOD played a major part along with much Prayer, in forming each State, in forming a Great Nation, and in writing the Declaration of Independence and THE Constitution of our Republic.

Excellent

Although I haven't read this book cover to cover, it is an excellent resource. I think the best way to use this book is to turn to it as you study different eras. For example, if you are studing the Pilgrims, read the pages of America's Providential History concerning the Pilgrims. It is not a complete history text, and it's not meant to be. It shows the overriding hand of God in our history as He moves us forward for His purpose.

This book has been incredibly helpful, easy to read and fascinating for our family. It's written from a Christian, Providential perspective, and shows how clearly the Christian roots in our nation are founded. I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a more traditional view of American history, as opposed to the newer, 'watered down and dumbed down' textbooks on the market today.
