A Top Flight Read

Jeannie Watt has produced another sterling story of romance sprinkled with a couple of minor mysteries and one humongous puzzle--why did Callie McCarran leave her high school sweetheart, Nathan Marcenek, the day after graduation without a goodbye or a word of explanation only to pop-up twelve years later in Nate's newspaper office looking for free-lance writing assignments? Nate flat out rejects Callie's request and pours water on her desire to put the past behind them and become friends. Still, he feels a little ember burning way down deep. But before the two can see the light of romantic day, Callie must confront an amorous, testosterone-laden 18-year old student at the school where she sought work as a substitute to make ends meet, a schoolyard stud who just happens to be the son of Nate's boss and an intern in Nate's office. Through it all, Callie suffers from frightening nightmares and an overpowering desire to move on down the line. Is there a connection between her nightmare's and her abandonment of Nate? What caused the nightmares? You'll only find the answers by reading this exciting romance.
