The Michael Jackson that Michael Jackson doesn't want you to know

I love Michael Jackson, but who the hell thinks it's o.k. to sleep in bed with little boys? There is more to it than that. This book is a good look behind the scenes in Michael Jackson's life, from the point of view few fan's, other than little boys, get to see. To Michael Jackson fans--Just read the book with an open mind, don't be a fool to overlook who Michael Jackson really may be. If he is a nasty pervert, like he would want anyone to know, right?

There are no winners

Like Jackson or hate him, if you want to see what happened during the first child molestation claim from the family's viewpoint this is the book to read. Raymond Chandler, the uncle of the victim and brother of the victim's father, narrates this tale for the reader. He shares conversations, feelings and even encounters, both positive and negative, with Michael Jackson fans. Is this book biased? Of course it is. It is told from a family member and insider. But knowing this, All That Glitters gives a perspective on this settled case that has been missing for many years. You don't need to interested in the Jackson allegations to enjoy this book. In fact, the one person who finally bought their own copy after reading mine had no interest in Jackson at all. This book is, more than anything, a sad saga of how the possibility of riches and stress of a possible criminal trial tore apart a family being held together by the thinnest of strings. It illustrates how those on the opposite side of the table used father against mother, victim against parents, and so much more. In the end, there were no winners. It is on my must-read list, and not because its about Michael Jackson, but because it is about humanity.

I know this book hurts you MJ fans but...

This book will probably be better known as "The Book MJ never wanted you to read." The truth hurts and there seems to be a lot of truths in this book. I visited the website atgbook and read some of the documents that back-up Mr. Chandler's claims, very strong stuff. I only wish his nephew would testify. Why is it when someone writes a book so strong the opposition always comes out with the same tired stuff..."You only wrote it for money", think of something new to say that has some meaning. There are only 2 people that know what happened and 1 of them is facing charges at this time, I don't think the young boy from 1993 has ever been charged with any crime.

the victim of the worst crime in history

After reading three books on this subject (all that Glitters),(Michael Jackson was my Lover), And (Redemption by Geraldine Hughes) I have come to the concusion that the first two books are the only true story of what really happened in 1993.( All that Glitters and Michael Jackson was my lover both follow the same timeline and direction. This book tell the real story of how the victim and his family were not only a victim of Michael Jackson but of his Fans and the people who never took the time to sit down and give Jordie's side of the story a chance. Michael Jackson was my lover was banned in this country so the real story was never told. I think everyone owes Jordie chandler a chance by buying this book or Michael Jackson was my Lover to hear the real truth of what happened. Jordie at 13 had the guts to come forward and tell his story. One of the hardest things for any child to do is to Tell when this type of thing happens to them. the guilty parties in Jordies story is not him and his family but MIchael Jackson and his fans. I think we all owe Raymond Chandler a big thank you for telling this story and having the strength to have this book printed after the other book was banned By Michael Jackson to keep the real story from coming out. If we had listened in 1993 there would of been no trial in 2005 and several kids would of been saved from the King Of Pop. To the Fans of Michael Jackson grow up and listen to the cries of little children, their tears are real.

The Truth Hurts

Finally the facts behind the original molestation charges against Michael Jackson come out in a book written by lawyer, Raymond Chandler, who is also the boy's uncle. Written by one who observed it all, Chandler gives a fascinating but fact driven narrative of how the events played out in 1993. The facts: from the sleepovers, the Jesus juice, the almost near possession of the boy by M.J. to the powerful negative media blitz by the Jackson PR team against the family. This sounds all too familiar 12 years later. Great page turner with the facts to back it up.
