I have lost 5 pounds in 2 weeks!

I found this book very helpful in controlling what I eat. The entries are laid out in a concise, easy-to read format. I recommend this book to anyone who is looking to lose a few pounds or start eating right for life.

It works for me!

I have had this book for over three years now and whenever I have needed to refer to it it has done its job. I can only tell you that if you are on or going on a diet this is the book to have. I have gone on a diet three different times and each time with the aid of this book to help me keep things on track. I lost fifty pounds the first time took a breather but maintained my weight loss and lost fifty more the second time and then took a breather and just maintained again now I am on the last leg of my goal weight and am finding it as easy as ever to handle. Thank you Jean Carper for being there!

Disappointment

I should have looked at the last printing date.Perhaps in 1994, it was useful, but it is no longer necessary to have brand names listed in a separate book. For several years now, each item is labeled quite clearly. There were 20 useful pages of fast food items, but other than that, nothing.
