A classic that deserves to be brought back in print

So sorry to see that this book is out of print - I loved it when I was young, and I do hope someone will reprint it so that a new generation of girls can discover Rosie.

A new year for Rosie Barnard

Rosie doesn't feel good with her father getting married becaruse her mother just died. Rosie really didn't want to give the women a chance do she thought up a plan. She had planned to runaway to a place where no one would find her. The only person who would know whould be Peter, who promised not to tell. I liked the book because I really wanted to know if Peterwould keep his promise. I was very interested in the plot and characters, and didn't want to put down the book.

Bring back childhood memories...

I am a thirty-four year old teacher and mother of two. One ofmy favorite childhood memories was when we had a snow day from schooland I spent the whole day curled up with hot chocolate, an electric blanket, and A Year in the Life of Rosie Bernard. I loved the book so much that I read it over and over. This is a very touching tale of a heroic little girl. It is a timeless story for any avid reader young or old. END
