I love the book

I love the series and books. I bought this to replace my paperbacks. I was happy with the purchase but slightly let down it was missing the dust jacket as I expected. I do think, if things like the dust jacket are missing, it should be more visible than a small asterisk.

Cute!

I love the book it was a fun little side story. Happy with my purchase but the book didnt come with the dust jacket like i was expecting...

It’s a Novella, not a novel

Of course there’s not a lot happening in this book. It’s a novella, not a full novel. It’s meant to fill in events between ACOWAR and ACOSF. It takes place in the day leading up to and immediately after the solstice. It includes chapters from Rhys and Cassians POV. You get backstory on Cassians mother. You see how Nesta isn’t dealing with the trauma as well as Feyre did. And it sets up the biggest question we all had going into ACOSF, WHAT DID CASSIAN THROW INTO THE SIDRA?!??

Not as good as the others but there is a lot of healing done and shows of what trauma does to someon

This one isn't nearly as good as the others because there isn't a lot happening. But its nice to see the inner circle rebuilding. And I love seeing Elaine being herself and starting to really heal. Although with this one, nesta is reallt hurting and going into a downward spiral. I really hope in the next book she can really heal. She just is so empty and doesn't know how to deal with it. I hope in the next installment we at least get to see how feyre and the rest of the court are doing. Some major healing and learning and working to actual peace.
