I selected this devotional for my Youth, Small Group Mentoring of 4 teens and I. It is very small easy to carry and the teens seem to be very attentive to the daily devotion. I thought it was good. MMK

A prof learns from her students

I am a professor at the university attended by the students who wrote many of these devotions and had the good fortune to pick up this little book unexpectedly, not knowing the source or content -- just attracted by the title. As a mom of a toddler and two teens, I seem to find very little time for my morning devotions and even seven minutes might be a stretch. I love the creativity of the prayers and meditations here, which challenge us not just to repeat a rote, prerecorded prayer but rather to do things like draw and write praise songs -- things I can do WITH my kids and meditate on all day long, stretching spiritual muscles and parts of myself that are sometime underutilized. I love this devotional!
