Great Creative Activity

It is such a great book to read and follow it with the exact activity with children. It helps children to create thier ideas with 6 sticks.

I second the motion.

As Mr. Murphy says, the book is good for introducing math concepts. We see several ways that the number 6 can be subdivided. As Mr. Murphy says, the illustrations are spendid. Just one gripe, though: the bindery work leaves much to be desired.

Molly Coxe has written the perfect beginning reader for counting! The art work is magnificent. An extension activity for this book is to have children make their own artwork using popsicle sticks!
