An exercise book that's fun and friendly--what a concept!

I was just sitting and bouncing on my inflatable ball at work and wanted to do more with it. This book is exactly what I needed, in a way that others were not.

Most exercise books really aren't conducive to exercise, because you can't read them while you're in position, the pictures aren't clear, the book is boring, etc. Working on the Ball puts those other books to shame. It's got amusing, friendly text and helpful, deliberately humorous photos. Even the book itself is handy, as it's small and hardback.

  Working On The Ball

Concise, easy to read and fits the time short generation that would like to be in better shape, and now can get fit while you work. Fun and intelligent language, well laid out and a handy size pocket reference to keep you on track.

Bouncing through a Fit Work Day

Great book. The exercises and fitness information are topnotch. They're presented in a really fun and funny way. The book's easy to use and it's fun to dip into here and there and try something out. If you're not sitting on a ball yet, get this book and revamp your life. If you are sitting on a ball, then get the book and add some great fitness activities to your work day.

  No more excuses

I think this book should be on everyones desk at the office
People are becoming increasingly busy these days and this
book helps you stay active even at work
So you no longer have any excuses to not be strong and healthy
I also like the layout of the book and the fun pictures
to demonstrate the different exercises

Finally a fun fitness book for the office

It's easy for me to say how great this book is...I co-authored it. Active sitting and core strength are two of the largest trends hitting North America today. Working on the Ball tackles the North American health crisis. One of the biggest causes of obesity is the fact we sit passively at a desk for hours on end. Our bodies weren't designed for passive sitting. Working on the Ball puts activity back into our daily lifestyle and our book is very simple and easy to implement from day one.
Obesity statistics continue to climb. What better way to help people become more active and make better choices then to create a fitness approach that reaches people where we spend the most time, the workplace. Best of all this book has a fun frisky edge that provides immediate gratification. We had a great time writing it and we know you'll have an even better time using it.
