Faye Kellerman Profile Picture

Faye Marder Kellerman, born in St. Louis, Missouri in 1962, writes bestselling mysteries under the name Faye Kellerman. After growing up in Sherman Oaks, California, she earned a B.A. in mathematics from the University of California, Los Angeles. Though she later completed her Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree, Kellerman has never practiced dentistry. Her first novel, The Ritual Bath, was published in 1986 and won the Macavity Award for the Best First Novel from the Mystery Readers of America. She has also co-authored the bestseller Double Homicide with her husband, fellow bestselling author Jonathan Kellerman. She has also written a young adult novel, PRISM, with her daughter, Aliza Kellerman. Kellerman's stories have been anthologized in numerous collections. She lives in Los Angeles and Santa Fe.
