Recyled Children's Book

My wife mentioned this particular book from her childhood and said she wished she could find it for our three small children but that it was out of print. I did a little research and found this near perfect quality edition and purchased it for her. It showed up while I was at work and when she opened it, she cried. Who said that little things don't matter?

Wonderful books

I received these books and the tapes for Christmas in 1981. I'm 33 now and am so happy to be sharing them with my 4 year old son. He loves them just as much as I did. The illustrations for the stories are a big part of what makes these books so charming. I could still remember so many details from them, even after not seeing them for two decades. I guess that's probably because I read and re-read them so many times.

Red Book of Wordplay Stories by Susan Batko

The Red and Yellow Books were all time favorites of my three children, who are now in their late 20's. My oldest daughter, a teacher, swiped my copies. I was delighted to be able to order them again. I have never found a child that didn't love the stories. They are a treasure!

UNBELIEVABLE!!!

The Red and Yellow books were bought for my son in 1982.He was never very fond of the books. However, as a childcare program owner, I am able to share books with hundreds of other children. Well, the Yellow and Red Books have been an all time hit with every preschool group we've had. The children (...)are in love with the books and are upset because the tapes are wearing out and we can not hear them too well. Were we surprised to find out we could purchase them again!! They are great for developing wordrecognition and listening skills. These stories are enjoyable.
