I had the pleasure of taking a cooking class from Cynthia where I purchased this book. I have cooked several of the recipes (including a meal for 20 with every recipe coming from her book) and my guests and family gave the food rave reviews. The recipes are easy and practical and don't require unusual ingredients.In addition the book is full of suggestions for variations in recipes and multiple uses for dressings and sauces.The best part of the book is that it really is filled with love. The personal notes, quotations, and revelations from Cynthia and her family have made this a cookbook that I use in the kitchen by day, and then take to my room to read before bed. It is a treasure I will use for years to come.
