Its not always easy being a witch. Or a psychic. Rachael Penzra happens to be both, and to her extreme annoyance, shes not very good in either role. When she inherits a house and business from her eccentric Aunt Josie, she feels it should be more than enough for a woman who had struggled for years as a single mother of three. It would be ideal, if only she could eliminate some of the people in her life. Adding insult to injury, Rachael finds herself not only targeted as a suspect, but also coerced by the victims mother into promising that shell try to use her errant psychic powers to locate the killer. She agrees merely as a token kindness. Unfortunately, nobody remembers to reassure the murderer that her powers are wobbly at best, and due to their unreliability, downright dangerous at times, usuallly to her.
