A fascinating exploration of how the Cold War could have turned hot

Every time I read this book I need to pinch myself to be sure I'm actually here and not a radioactive figment of someone else's imagination. With the 60-year anniversary of the Cuban Missile Crisis just a few years down the road, it's a perfect time to check out "When Angels Wept".
