Great resource I will refer to over the years.

This is a book I will refer to again and again. Beware--the title of this book is misleading--it doesn't talk about what I would consider real "trouble" in school. I think it more accurately describes what to EXPECT in school! I think just about every parent will find their child in one of the situations described at one time or another--especially parents of more than one child. The book is an easy read (typical of a Reader's Digest publication), with lots of hints put in the margins for quick reference. I especially appreciated the insight into how teachers and administrators typically look at common issues. The book gave me tips I can modify. I will feel more comfortable when I approach problems, and I now realize how important working WITH the school is! With two kids, you can be sure I will keep this book handy!
