Great Book for Singles in Preparation for Marriage!!!!!!!!!!

"What to Do After You Say I Do" is an awesome book! It is also a powerful advantage to have the information in this book before you get married. The author does a great job explaining the difference between planning for a wedding and preparing for a marriage. From a single woman's perspective, I think this book is a beneficial tool that gives women valuable information and godly enlightenment on how to pray and prepare for a loving and everlasting marriage. Yvette Gavin really did an OUTSTANDING job in writing this book. This book is a MUST READ for anyone who values their soul mate as much as they value their wedding day.

What Every Woman Should Know

Wow, there is so much truth in this book. I wasn't focused on the marriage when I was planning my wedding. Where I am happily married today, I could have avoided many of the stumbling blocks in the early years of my marriage. Today, I regained a focus and commitment to cover my husband in prayer, to stop talking about the negative stuff, and respect him in all I do by respecting myself first. The information on becoming the president of my husband's fan club was excellent! All of my girlfriends are getting a copy of this book for their birthday this year.

Biblical Counseling Should Be The Only Marital Counseling

Minister Gavin could not have made this book any simpler. She demonstrates Godly counsel in this book and why shouldn't she? Isn't marriage created by God demonstrated by Jesus Christ's relationship to the church? I look forward to reading follow-up books focusing on the marital relationship from Min. Gavin.

This book is very insightfull, entertaining, interesting, a very easy read, and best of all it is based on the Word of God. Minister Gavin has certainly taped into an area that needs to be addressed because millions of people do prepair for the wedding but not for life after the wedding. I am planning on refering this book to my bishop and other men and women of God as a pre-requisite or a part of the pre-marital counseling. This book is right on point and takes a biblical look at the role of the wife in marrage from a biblical perspective without alienating the reader or scaring them away. If wou want to get your marrage off on the right foot or if you are married and want a better ralationship with your husband or you wife for that matter GET THIS BOOK.
