Factories are virtually synonymous with pollution. In 2021, the Norwegian furniture manufacturer Vestre decided to demonstrate that alternative models are possible. With the acclaimed Danish architecture firm Bjarke Ingels Group (BIG), they devised plans for a green factory deep in the Norwegian forests.
