For the Nice Guy Who Wants to do Better

There are a lot of books out there about how to get women into bed. Most appear to be written by guys, everyone from great writers like Neil Strauss to complete players who can't spell very well looking to have as much wild, irresponsible and ultimately selfish sex as they can. UNDERSTANDING WOMEN is the perfect book for a nice guy who's looking to improve his game (which, I suspect, is most of us out here). This book doesn't treat women like targets or belt notches because it was written by one, striking the right balance between getting your game and satisfying the romance for your prey. And, no matter how nice you are, you will need "game" out there. It's the law of the jungle, especially these days. Romy Miller does an excellent job of giving insight into the female mentality and allows men to see what's going on from the other side. If you're looking to become a player-borderline-sexual-predator, move on to something else (those books are out there), but if you're looking to improve your love life and find something more meaningful, then check this one out.

Forget the Mystery Method and that other PUA stuff and get back to common sense!

About a year ago, I began reading various pick-up artist material, including Neil Strauss' The Game, The Mystery Method by Mystery, and From the Bar to the Bedroom by the editors of AskMen.com. The information in those books was quite useful, but I felt the material that pick-up artists use didn't fit my personality. I tried using that material on a few ladies, and it seemed so unnatural and uncomfortable to me. I successfully creeped out a few of them. I felt like an actor reading from a horrible script. Plus, don't get me started on "the seven hour rule." Sex happens when she wants it to happen. You can't force it on her. Every guy is different. He must use the strengths in his personality to become successful with women. What I like about this book is that tells you what not to do, what to do, what is going through her mind, and what she expects you to do. All you need to have is a decent personality, and the information in the book will guide you the rest of the way. The book is nothing more than common sense that guys tend to overlook. The chapters are short and to the point. I read the whole thing in about two hours. By the way, she is hilarious but right, sadly. If you had a bad role model growing up or your dad taught you absolutely nothing about women, I strongly suggest this book and only this book. It's all you really need. Please, don't buy into the whole PUA thing. The next book you should buy should be on tantric sex.

The title says it all

Romy Miller gets the job done in this book. Her brutally honest style of advice (written in a lesson-by-lesson style of coaching) is like a well-needed slap in the face for any man looking to improve his ability to attract and interact with women. She is quick to point out your flaws, mistakes, and inaccurate beliefs regarding women, and is just as quick to tell you how to fix them. Miller's grasp of the male psyche in this book is uncanny. She accurately portrays both the male and female perspectives in every aspect of attracting and interacting with women, and then gives you gold: she tells you what women are looking for. She tells you what to do. There is no miracle secret. Alot of the advice is simple, but true, and effective. Be warned, this is not a book of moves, or psychological tricks. Those books teach you how to approach women and try to win their affection. This book is much better. Romy Miller is a no-nonsense female, coaching you on how to be the best YOU you can be, in regards to being appealing to women. You will no longer need to win a woman`s affection after learning from this book. Instead, women will be trying to win yours.

Lonely guy? Read this book, and re-read it. This book is concise common sense instruction on meeting, dating, etc. Easy to read. Romy Miller writes with an intensity and fervor to teach the readers how to meet women, look sharp, and have an intimate relationship. For whatever reasons, many men of the world really need to read this book to get their heads together. I've re-read it about 3 times, and I get more out of it, everytime. And, most importantly, over the last year since I started reading this book, the number of unfamiliar women I've approached and dated has escalated, and I feel like I know what I'm looking for, now and I feel like I'm on my way to meeting the one, if I'm not currently dating her. This book isn't a guide to seduction. The author's recommendations are for starting relationships, not quick trysts, though trysts are covered. The book covers maturity with simple statements that make you think about where you're going with all this.

The fast track to better dating results!

This book is a gold mine of wisdom for readers who are through whining and are ready to get serious about dating. With a tough love approach, Romy Miller challenges males to stop coming up short and to do what is needed to be a success in the world of dating. This relatively short book says much more than some dating books that are twice as long. "Understanding Women" consists of dozens of short chapters and each one addresses an important aspect of dating. No games here! Miller teaches how to succeed while respecting women and thus maintaining good karma. Readers will get a better idea of how women think and why they think like they do. This book makes it very obvious that succeeding with women will require considerable outlays of money and effort but also points out why dating is worth the trouble. Readers will also recognize that dating is not to be done half-heartedly but that success is within reach if they are willing to put forth the effort. For all those whose parents and friends have failed to pass on any true dating insight, this book is an investment that will pay huge dividends!
