Heads and Tales above the Usual Mystery Page-Turner

this is an excellent page-turner and mystery . It is one of those rare junkers about a total psychopath on the loose who is totally crazy. However, you are still on the edge of your seat guessing. It has interesting characters, pieces fit together and there is no deus ex machina in the end. There is bizarre ritual, religiosity, academic b.s. and a whole maelstrom of personality disorders flooding the pages. It is a must-read pulp fiction. Heads and tales above the usual.

Ritual

This mystery novel is one that keeps you glued to your seat until the end. You definitely don't want to peek ahead on this one. William Heffernan is an excellent mystery writer but this one is my favorite and I'm not passing this one around for fear that I will lose track of it. It's a 10 pointer in my book.

It kept me interested in finding out what was goin to happen

Like I said it kept me interested in finding out what was going to happen next. The story was filled with lots of surprses,and took place in diferent parts of the world as the detective ran around pretending to find out what was happening to the victims!Thru the whole story I kind of figured it was the detective but really could not pinpoint it.
