What an outstanding book covering forms of artillery throughout time. From ancient to modern times, this book covers the history, development, and use of forms of artillery in its forms of mortars, cannons, siege guns, naval guns, artillery pieces, field guns, howitzers, railway guns, tracked artillery, flak guns, rockets, armored, recoilless rifles, missiles.....yeah, artillery means all of these forms! LARGE GUNS ARE BY DEFINITION ARTILLERY! And does this book cover them...many I've never even seen!! Great text, pictures, colored renderings, and in a historical content! One of my favorite books! A must for your military library!
