Goodreads Choice Award-winning poet USA TODAY bestselling author In this fierce and lyrical poetry collection, Amanda Lovelace reclaims power for the witch--supernaturally powerful, fiercely independent, and unbreakably resilient. This bold second book in Amanda Lovelace's "women are some kind of magic" seriesturns to the mythological character of the witch: a force unto herself, reclaiming her story with vulnerability and fury. These moving, relatable poems encourage resilience and embolden women to take control of their own stories. Enemies try to judge, oppress, and marginalize her, but the witch doesn't burn in this one.
The book overall was a quick read but definitely touched me. The poetry within was very heartfelt, and is something everyone should read.
Fantastic Book

This book touched on all the feelings I didn't know I had. More than being "seen" by this author, she invites the reader to experience everything with her and join her (if you haven't already). She will hold the sacred space if you are too timid to shine and roar in defiance of anyone who would say you were wrong. Truly and inspiring work.
