Nice for a new couple, bride and groom who are learning their way around the kitchen!

Purchased as a wedding gift for a relative who registered for everything for their kitchen, but didn't know how to use any of it and would rather eat out. :) Book was nicely laid out, good variety of recipes and some nice entertaining tips.

A Great Intro to Entertaining

I really enjoyed this author's first book, but I think this one is even stronger, especially for the inexperienced cook/hostess. (There's plenty here for those with a few parties under their belts as well.) The recipes and projects are well-tested and accessible, and the author's charming and encouraging voice shine through. Brava!
