This book contains facsimiles of letters sent home by three young emigrants to Pennsylvania in 1853 from Meenmore, Dungloe, Co. Donegal, Ireland. They were John Sweeney, John Boyle, and Patrick Ward, and their mentor was Charles M. Boyle. The first two died early - from consumption and yellow fever.
