Another enthralling mystery about Medieval Ireland

This is the third book in this series by Cora Harrison. It follows Mara, a brehon (an enforcer of the Brehon law) in Ireland in the early 1500s. After attending the funeral of a popular priest, and unpopular man is found dead on the church steps from bee stings. The book is an interesting mystery, has beautiful descriptions of the natural environment, an excellent depiction of the culture, and exhibits depth and realism in the characters. Time well spend, very satisfying.
