Amplify Your Strengths... Now

The Science of Making Things Happen: Turn Any Possibility into Reality Kim Marcille Romaner is founder and Chief Amplifier of Possibilities Amplified, Inc., and an expert on both the science of amplifying possibility into reality and the practical applications for both people and businesses. I first heard Kim on teleclass a little over two years ago. I was fascinated. She spoke about law of attraction kind things, but she applied some real science to the concepts instead of the look at photo, see your dreams come true kind of thing. I am closeted science geek and love studies. I also like the idea that you can create your life. The combination of these two was too irresistible to resist. I signed up for her newsletter and began to participate in a group coaching program she was hosting. Fast forward two years and Kim has appeared on my radio show twice and her The Science of Making Things Happen: Turn Any Possibility into Reality was published. Am I changed for having worked with Kim? Yes. When I started working with Kim I was at a job that was sufficient but not really satisfying. Subsequently I was laid off in 2008 and began shifting my life around. I began a radio show, interviewing million dollar authors and entrepreneurs, as well as, great writers, singers, and others. I ended a successful ten-year writing program and began coaching other people to have their own shows. But, the money thing, and my living situation has not caught up to my dreams. I asked Kim about this on the last show. We talked about her dream to write a book. The dream began in the 80's and it was published in 2010. What? Does this mean this stuff doesn't work? Yes, it does and here is what she says; "If you mean nothing seems to be happening, then I would say, this is common. People lose faith in two places when amplifying possibility: in the beginning, and in the middle. In the beginning they are too afraid to begin taking action, so they don't, and nothing happens. In the middle, they lose faith. This is a critical point in the process. You will either choose to believe in your dream and keep acting as if, taking those actions, OR... you will give up. You'll put the dream aside, and pretend like it never existed. And which kind of life would you rather have lived: a life you spent pursuing your dreams, or pretending they never existed?" This is not magic. A genie doesn't come out of a bottle and change your life. It may take a day or ten years. Here is the difference. I can look at the part of my life that doesn't work and say, "my life stinks", or I could look at what I have accomplished, radio show, courses, whole bunch of new skills, and say I am on the right track. That is what Kim teaches. Empower your strengths, not your weaknesses. In Part I of the book, Kim explains five secrets of leading-edge science and their implications for creating the ideal life. In Part II, Kim demonstrates how readers can apply the five secrets as a system in differen

Easy quantum physics to quantifiable results

I have always had to have the science to back things up in everything I do. Kim makes it all so easy to understand. You will learn, you will see results quickly, you will find it becomes a practice that is useful and fun. The science is here and it works. I cannot stress how helpful this book is or how easy it is to really make the changes you want so much to make. I urge you to buy this book, complete the exercises and watch the results. You really will be amazed.

Not about the Law of Attraction

I only give it a five star rating because I did not want to discourage people from at least looking at the book. It really deserves a 2 star at most. This book is not about the Law of Attraction or at least it is incoherent in it's message. In one sentence the author is suggesting the "universe" can make anything happen and in the next it is giving advice on how to budget so you can get out of debt. So all the "how to' components of the book are conventional cause and effect stuff that is basic common sense or at least has been written about many times in more conventional books. I am only half way through the book but it seems to moving more and more in the direction of the conventional: "how to succeed in your business or life using practical( common sense) steps" would be a good description for this book. However please do not think it is profound advice. For example if you want to get ahead in your career you should network! WOW, I never heard that before. Want another one? You should create a plan! I was writing this review as I was reading the book but I have officially stopped reading it. She started talking about " a software program called Microsoft Project" and then started telling stories about how she used it to become successful in a job she held. In short the author needed to pick a subject and write the book about it. Is it about science? Is it a self help book? Is it a business book? Is it techniques to get ahead in your job. Is it a Law of Attraction book? I wish the answer was all of the above but it is not because the ideas do not support each other and nothing really gets developed in a coherent way.

Outstanding!
