The little raindrop learns how to make a rainbow in the sky with her new raindrop friends, including Dewy. When she creates the rainbow, she turns into a different colour, and Dewy names her after it; she is now Rainbow Raindrop. Rainbow Raindrop then finds rainbows everywhere they go; from a school window, watching a teacher ask her class to draw a rainbow, to a puddle at the local park. As their adventure comes to an end, they land on a petal, ready to travel back home to the magic cloud where they can be recreated as new raindrops.
