It would have been easy for her to keep her secrets in the past. That is not the kind of person Stormie is. She's honest; she's grounded in the Lord. In the past she was involved in the occult, she was self-centered. Now she is God centered. OMartian's books all center on prayer. Like O'Martian I have seen the power of prayer. Our world can be changed with prayer. Individuals can be changed with the power of prayer. In this her latest book, O'Martian discusses formulating a personal prayer time, the benefits of praying with a prayer partner, belonging to a praying church, and how you can make a difference through prayer. "Powerful Message"

Stormie Omartian bluntly describes her spiritual path. She admits that she was self-absorbed and involved in the occult. Then, she met Jack Hayford. He turned her life around. He was a pastor, and he co-wrote this book. To many people, prayer is a subjective, intangible, incomprehensible mystery. Omartian describes what prayer is and its importance in a clear, decisive manner. She writes for both new Christians and seasoned Christians. She describes the different kinds of prayer and the benefits of a prayer partner. My favorite part of the book was the lists of 15 Things We Should Always Do For One Another and the list of 10 Things We Should Never Do to One Another. She bases the list on scripture. I think there is an underlying theme throughout the book of compassion. This is a powerful message.
