a great learning resource

I homeschool both of my kids (ages 11 & 14)using the k12 online curriculum. We got to a lesson on calendars and I felt like we needed a little more information as a supplement. I remembered that my son enjoyed this book so we pulled it out and I found that it was a great resource for learning about the history of the calendar. Plus, my kids were more than willing to learn from a m & m "sponsored" book!

Clear Explanation of the Evolution of our Calendar!

I bought this book because my sixth grade students were having a very hard time with a story in our basal reader called "Calendar Art." I bought this book and they loved it. While explaining why an accurate calendar isn't easy, the M & M's do an admirable job in explaning it! Worthwhile, even for my 12 year olds!
