Great for the beginning Ebayer

This book has tons of great information for the beginning Ebayer. It tells everything you need to know about getting started on Ebay. But, since I already had been familiar with Ebay for two years I didn't find it all that helpful. If you are new to Ebay then you do need this book. If I would have had it when I first started then it would have made things a lot smoother.

Everything you've ever wanted to know about eBay...

This informative book arrived after I had already gotten well ensconced in eBay world, but offers invaluable tips and information for all users. I read it from cover to cover because not only is it informative, it is entertaining and interesting as well. Provides many "gems". The thumbnail sketches of eBay pros and their wisdom is both interesting and quirky.

Comprehensive, funny and better than I imagined!

Comprehensive, smart and better than I hoped for! I wasn't quite sure what an 'Official Guide to eBay' was actually going to cover. However, I was delighted by this smart book that also has a sense of humor. It of course has all the 'how to' stuff you'll ever need about eBay and covers lots of ebay's rules and online etiquette. It's also packed with great advice about being more sucessful in buying and selling and taking a more business like approach to ebay activities. The book has profiles of eBay collectors and sellers and little tidbits about ebay that made this much more than a point and click mannual; it's actually a fun read. A portion of the book is devoted to the whole crazy world of collecting and the world beyond ebay. I found this helpful and I can see how collectors or people trying to sell to collectors could benefit from this information. I learned a great deal. Now I know I am actually an ebaysian!

Accept no other book to learn everything about Ebay!

This is the best book on Ebay because it taught me in a very simple and complete way how to find the things I want. So many books of this kind are complicated and frustrating --- but not this guide. The layout and information are completely accessible, and I enjoyed the author's knowledge and humorous approach.
