A must read

During the War On Drugs in the 90's, I didn't watch the news to know that was happening. I learned a lot from this book. I highly recommend reading this book about mass incarceration.

Important book for everyone, but especially for people in criminal justice roles.

Excellent writing and simple straight forward explanations of important and far reaching issues.
