The Marriage Command

I been looking forward to reading this book. And I enjoy reading this series of Contract Brides . I enjoy the characters and their story they are telling me too.

Wonderful

Claire Ryan is in a bind. She has raised her late step-sister's son since the day she brought him home from the hospital. Unbeknownst to Claire, Farrah had taken action against the father of her baby, to get whatever child support she could get. Except things don't happen that way. Farrah dies in an accident and Claire gets the shock of her life when she's taken to court by Logan Pierce. Logan Pierce is Cody's uncle. He's the only relative Logan has now that his brother passed away. He's determined to get custody of Cody and raise him as a Pierce. Knowing Claire was more qualified to raise Cody, but knowing she didn't have the money to get adequate counseling like he did, Logan wins custody of Cody. Now Claire has to find it in her heart to leave her boy with this tall, scowling, quiet stranger and leave him there for good. But Logan has other plans. Although he is very cynical towards women, he proposes to Claire so that Cody can have a two-parent family. He also tells her it won't be a marriage in name only, it would be a real marriage because he wants children of his own, too, but not to look for him to love her because it's not part of the bargain. I can still remember reading my first Susan Fox book. It was THE BAD PENNY and I remember hunting down everything I could find by her after reading that one. Although THE MARRIAGE COMMAND is not as emotional as some of her older books, it is one I enjoyed. Logan tries so hard to be unfeeling when it comes to Claire but each time he was around her you could see the sparks between them. You'll be riveted to the story from the moment you read the first page. Susan Fox never fails to captivate her readers and this one is no different. Mad

Clair Ryan has to give up her orphen nephew to Logan Pierce when he wins Cody in Court.But when she bring little Cody to his ranch Logan has a proposistion for her; Marriage, when he finds Clair will do almost anything to keep little Cody from haveing a hard time learning to do without her. Logan doesn't wnat any part of love.Clair's plan is to become Cody's mom and then leave with Cody.But Logan has a pernupual agrement for her to sign.Clair must stay married to Logan to have Cody.Clair doesn't like Logan at first, and she puts down some rules herself. She want Cody to be loved.Logan soon sees Clair isn't like the other women he has know, she is real. Clair teaches Logan to love Cody.Logan falls in love with Clair, and before long Clair too is falling in love with Logan. Logan wants other kids.Clair wants love, and Logan is just the man to give it to her.Susan Fox is the best of the best.Her books are romantic to the last degree.
