Just...just...guh

Valentine took a metric ton of characters and made me care about each of them. I could never guess where the book was heading next, but when I got there, it was right and obvious, and her writing is just...I want to bathe in it. Not a word out of place; everything limber and luscious and edited down to exactly what it needed to be.
