It may not work for everyone, but I lost 40 pounds........

I am disappointed this book is out of print. I have had the book for ten years and still refer to it! This is an excellent book for those who may be intimidated by the "gym barbies" with a nine inch waist who appear to have been born in spandex. This book is just full of common sense for ordinary people. I am not so sure about walking solely to lose weight without dieting. I did diet along with the walking. I was so proud of myself the first time I walked a whole mile! Within months, I was up to 6 miles a day. By then, it wasn't about dieting, or weight loss. It just felt good. This book is just what the doctor ordered...
