Lovely, Lovely

This is a lovely, lovely book. In addition to being a wonderful story, it's a marriage manual that young engageds should all read; and it's a life manual for us all.

The Decatur Road

It breaks my heart that this book is out of print. I keep hoping that Joe Coomer will become a famous author, not just a great one, so that all his books will once again become available. This was his first novel and the one dearest to my heart, although I've enjoyed all his works. "The Decatur Road" isn't just a novel it is literature. I read it about once a year just as I do "To Kill a Mockingbird" and "Cold Sassy Tree". I have to go visit my dear friends in those sleepy southern towns. If you can find "The Decatur Road", READ IT!
