Excellent resource for keeping your cat(s) healthy and happy.

Written by a veterinarian, this book provides detailed health advice as well as first-aid information for the wide variety of trouble your cat can get into. Some health emergencies simply cannot wait for treatment until one packs Fluffy in the car and drives to the Vet. This book provides valuable information to help you keep your cat alive en route to your Vet or animal hospital. From basic cuts and scrapes to being struck by lightning or bitten by a snake, a new cat owner might be surprised just how much trouble a curious cat can find. This book helped us better prepare change-averse cats for moves and realize the severe risk of heat-stroke posed after losing our air-conditioning due to a hurricane. The Cat Repair Book is not filled with cute cat pictures and feline pop-psychology, it is by and large a whiskers-to-tail primer on your cat's anatomy and health concerns written in plain English. A new parent today would (it is hoped) not fail to learn CPR; if your cat is a valued member of your family this is a worthy resource to keep at hand.
