Having a witch's shadows?

As the title suggests, this is the story of a boy with two shadows. Sounds simple enough, and it quite is, but I was surprised at just how poignant it turned out to be. The story is told softly, relying on thoughtful descriptions of surroundings and emotions--cleverly observant. It's quirky and whimsical (we all know it's impossible to buy a shadow) with its involvement of a child and a mysterious witch. It's a lovely story with all the proper elements of subtle horror and heart.
