No cards, just the book. They need to CLEARLY STATE that this listing is for the BOOK ONLY & NOT THE CARDS. They failed to do this, and I now own the book but no cards to go with it. Had this happen on ABEBooks.com as well. Might as well just create my own deck at this point because no one seems to have the cards anymore. Maybe this is a sign to put this back in print?

Where's the deck?

Wheres the deck??? Doesn't say book only. All the reviews talk about the deck and book. . Why read the book without cards showed a deck when I ordered it.

Rune Cards with Book

I found the Rune Cards and the Book that accompanied them in the box very helpful and informative. The book that explains the meaning of the Cards was very significant.

Wonderful Artwork

The way the Elder Futhark (runes) are incorporated into such beautiful scenarios is reason enough to buy this deck. The book is also very useful, and avoids repeating the Book of Runes that came with a clay set. A card deck of runes is also a lot easier to travel with; whenver I went through airports with my other rune sets, I was always afraid someone would damage my stones. Regardless of whether you are a beginner or an expert, anyone who loves runes would love this deck.

I have always liked using the rune stones for guidance; so my husband bought me these as a gift.What artwork! They are easy to use and pretty to look at. What more could you want? These are a must have for readers and collectors.

great cards!

I have found that the cards are much more to my liking than the stones. for some reason I can identify a bit more with cards. great set for people more comfy with cards. I highly recomend it.

A real user-friendly oracle

I had a good time reading and using the original Book of Runes with accompanying runestones, as well as the rune cards! I even created my own set of stones from modelling material and cards from 3x5 cards. I had no complaints about this oracle. Other oracles (whether in the form of books, cards or any other device), I've had some difficulties: sharp rebukes, condescending "messages," pseudointellectual drivel mascarading as enlightened wisdom. But I really enjoyed reading and using Ralph Blum's cards and runestones.
