Attached to the blanket she carries everywhere, Susi must decide what to do with it on her first day in kindergarten since her mother insists she shouldn't take it with her. This description may be from another edition of this product.
Ironically, this book has been a favorite of ours for years, so finding a hard copy version of it was a thrill. My daughter, who is now in her early
40's, wore her favorite blanket around her neck like a shawl everywhere we went, so when a librarian friend told us to purchase this book in 1985
we had to find it. When we bought the book it was a soft cover and the most fascinating part was that it was written in 1981, the year my daughter was born. In addition, the author's name was Nancy Evans Cooney. My daughter's name is Nancy Evans! The book soon became a family favorite, and my daughter has cherished it forever. There is nothing better than finding a book that is a perfect fit for a young child.
This was one of those times.
A young child must part with her beloved blanket.
